Installation examples

in Leopard 2

To clarify how our fire suppression systems can be installed, we have equipped a Leopard 2 with our products.

On the left side the control unit and its display panel (1) is shown as installed on a Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank
Here the signals from the detections system are evaluated

If the control unit receives a fire detection signal the fire extinguishing system will be triggered (2).

In just a few seconds the fire extinguishing agent will be distributed into the engine compartment through the fire extinguishing pipework

As the appropriate detection system (3) in the engine compartment of the Leopard 2 Main Battle Tank the linear Firewire sensor is used, alternatively the DTF point sensor system.
Bothe variants are alerting the control unit in seconds and all further fire fighting actions are generated.
